Biking in the Bregenz Forest
From gentle tours along the Bregenzer Ache river to challenging tours for hardened bikers, the Bregenz Forest has it all. Along with winding forest paths, there are also spectacular single track trails that will make every biker’s heart beat faster. On the gentle to medium level tours, once you reach a height of 400 to 600 metres above seal level, you have a great view of the Bregenz Forest mountains, the Allgäu Alps and even as far as Switzerland. Powerful bikers can be seen on the Schetteregg-Schreiberesattel or Diedamskopf-Neuhornbachhaus routes.
The Bregenz Forest is still relatively undiscovered amongst mountain bikers, but those who visit here once fall in love with our wonderful scenery.
