skiing in the bregenzerwald
the ideal homebase for skiing and ski touring
skihotel bregenzerwald
The "Rössle" is your skihotel in the Bregenzerwald. For pleasure ski tours, deep snow skiing and dreamlike experiences on the slopes during your skiing vacation in Vorarlberg. With the mountain and ski guides of the ski schools you are well looked after and arrive safely at the most beautiful places.
on our doorstep
the grunholzlift
Right outside our front door is the Grunholzlift. A short conveyor belt that can be used by everyone free of charge. The Grunholzlift is ideal for beginners and returning skiers, for romping in the snow, building snowmen, sliding and skiing. The highlight at the Grunholzlift is night skiing. Every Wednesday and Friday the slope is floodlit and in operation from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for tobogganers and skiers.
very close
It is only 11 km to the neighboring village of Damüls. You can also get there comfortably by bus or your car. The snowy and varied skiing area counts over 109 km of slopes and is connected with Mellau. Sunny south-facing slopes, spectacular black runs and 21 km of ski routes will inspire you. The crew from Burton Snowpark takes care of the hotspot of the freestyle and snowboard scene. There are various rails, tables, boxes and a casual chill-out area.

want to ski down the valley?
The Diedamskopf is 2.090 m high and has the longest valley run in the Bregenzerwald. The family-friendly ski area is only 2 km away, popular with skiers and hikers and accessible by ski bus. It stops directly in front of the "Rössle"!
All Simma children learned to ski here and even now we love the area with its spectacular views and natural snow slopes. You can expect 40 km of ski slopes, a fun park for snowboarders and freeskiers and the view of 300 mountain peaks. On good days you can even see the Ulm Cathedral.
